Symltech Ltd was formed in 2003 to develop a software system for a specialist plant operating company.

Expertise was combined from the software and operated plant industries to produce a mobile work management system utilising technologies such as GPS satellite tracking, GPRS mobile internet, digital signature capture and PDA/pocket PC's.

Symltech is now actively forming technology development partnerships with international vehicle tracking, communications and accounting solution providers.

SYMLTECH LTD WAS FORMED IN 2003 TO DEVELOP A SOFTWARE SYSTEM FOR A SPECIALIST PLANT OPERATING COMPANY.

	The company was awarded innovation grant funding under the Welsh Development Agency's SMARTCymru scheme.
	Received support from the University of Wales, Swansea’s Spinout Programme.

Following a rigorous period of technical and commercial research, it was decided to produce a system that would utilise GPS satellite tracking of resources, and GPRS data transmission for real time communication.

The system available today - Glimpse™ - is extremely flexible and meets the needs of any service provider needing dynamic scheduling and data collection.

Symltech is continuing to develop new features and enhancements for the Glimpse™ system and is actively looking at ways companies can gain a commercial benefit from all the new technologies that are becoming available. We pride ourselves on really getting to know how our customers’ businesses operate so that we can produce workable cost effective solutions to the real problems they face.
