RNA Plant is South Wales' premier road sweeping and road planing contractor. They operate throughout the region utilising versatile, 'state of the art' equipment to provide a service that is second to none. RNA has recently expanded its road planing division and now operates a fleet of four Wirtgen planers. The company's location on the M4, just west of Swansea makes it ideally placed to service contracts throughout South Wales, from the Severn Crossing to St. Davids.

The introduction of Glimpse™ throughout the fleet has brought major benefits to the organisation – especially by removing the stress of day to day paperwork battles from the office. Glimpse™ has thereby significantly reduced the direct cost (time, money and nerves) of controlling resources in the field, managing the paperwork, providing proof of delivery, invoicing and credit control. As a result it has also improved customer satisfaction and cashflow.

The technology on the PDAs has been accepted very well by the operators and – after a short training session – is being used successfully throughout the company.

In summary – without Glimpse™ RNA Plant would not now be in a position of strength and able to focus on continued expansion. The introduction of Glimpse™ has significantly reduced operational inefficiencies and associated costs.
